Habitable Wall - James Turrell

Original design to be reworked and incorporated into my portfolio. The photos are a little yellow, but this things will all be resolved in time....in first year we had no clue of the wonders of Photoshop, or keeping up with photographing our work for that matter.
I look forward to reworking this project for my portfolio!

My Final Model.....#5 of tis very same design......but I believe #15 of all the models that didn't fit James Turrel's home in lovely Arizona.

Side view....I love this model. I can imagine laying out by the pool on a warm summer day sipping on an ice cold drink, watching the sun cast shades of blue all around me.

The challenge of this project was to create a habitable wall for a client specific to that clients needs and character. My client was James Turrel and I created a wall that was all about simple form, strong lines, and light.
